They do need protection both from heat and cold. Their lack of fat makes it harder for them to regulate body temperature. For summer we have a gel cooling mat they lay on. Tonight was more about seeing if what we had would fit Cornbread since we didn’t have him last winter. Finding things to fit them isn’t easy.

On the other hand Ruby did amass quite a wardrobe last year not because she needed multiple sweater/jacket options but because some were too cute to pass up.

Saw my neighbors walking their six pack of greyhound rescues yesterday, each dog in a different fancy coat. It was hard not to stare, so fun to see.

I was showing photos of dogs (greyhounds and whippets) to my daughter as she fell asleep last night.  She thought they were cute.
